Consent & Decisions

This series has been produced with Mel Gadd from the Sex Education Company, and Claire Lightley from Bodysense Education. 

It provides teaching on topics including:
  • The legal definition of consent
  • The Mental Capacity Act
  • Touch and body boundaries, and respecting yours and others

We have made this series to bridge between the primary and secondary RSHE curriculum. It also reinforces learning from earlier series about appropriate and inappropriate touch. Learning about touch, boundaries, and consent is important to do before starting to talk about sexual relationships and sexual acts.
